hello friends.
if you had been to crescent's national day celebrations, you would have had absolute fun!
it started with a solemn celebration, where the SEC1 BAND played trumpet voluntary for the march in. with then followed by the national anthem and pledge with the recollections. we still had to stand 'at ease' for the national day message.
my legs were breaking, okay?!after our break, the band set up for their next performance!
dont make it sound so easy, it was such a squeeze in the backstage. setting up the chairs with your reed in your mouth is not very convenient. When the band warmed up, people screamed hysterically for the friends who were about to perform.
like momo and sarah and the restt!! Yes, what supportive friends! As the band major led the band to a warm-up note, more people filed in with flags stuck together to try to make some marvelous high-flying flag tower. The band played 'LION KING' which had some juvenile players smiling pleasantly to the audience.
not so pleasant, Author, just try to smile nicely without looking alien? Yes. It was indeed a magical performance! As the sec1 band joined in to play 'BIG FUN IN THE SUN', folks from peacehaven came in. BFIS was an okay performance. Sounded less enjoyable from their previous practices.
HEY WHAT TALKING YOU?!? oh okay, i still kinda agree. One of the audiences said that she could'nt make up the tune of BFIS.
The day was rather patroitic, with many national day songs to sing.
Yes i agree. i could almost cry. It ended well and as the girls left,some went shopping with their friends.
Yes i did. smita and shienling too. Nicolette, Shienling and Smita went to citylink's MOH, TCC AND HMV to shop for things. after buying some books, they ate the marvelously delicious chicken wings and cold chocolate from tcc. which they then browsed through cds at hmv.
